Every year on August 20th, World Mosquito Day marks the historic discovery of the link between Mosquitos and malaria transmission. While malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases remain significant public health challenges in underserved regions, they are entirely preventable.

For the past two years, Greenbox Facilities Limited has dedicated its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts toward eradicating mosquito-borne threats in vulnerable communities. Our annual outreach bridges the gap between environmental hygiene, public health education, and immediate community relief.

This year, we are expanding our reach. We invite corporate organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), civil society groups, and passionate individuals to partner with us in making an even greater impact. Together, we can safeguard health and build cleaner, healthier environments.

What We Do During the Outreach

When Greenbox Facilities Limited enters a partner community, we implement a multi-faceted approach designed to deliver both immediate relief and long-term sustainability:

Community Sensitizations:

Prevention begins with knowledge. Our in-house environmental health specialists conduct interactive sensitization sessions tailored to local languages and customs. We educate community members on vector life cycles, early symptom recognition, proper net usage, and household preventive measures.

Environmental Sanitation & Clean-up:

Collaborative community clean-up drives to eliminate stagnant water, clear choked drainage systems, and remove mosquito breeding grounds.

Professional Vector Control & Fumigation:

Comprehensive pest control and targeted outdoor fumigation services delivered by our professional pest management team.

Relief & Protection Distribution:

Direct distribution of essential preventative supplies including Long-Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs), safe indoor insecticides, mosquito repellent creams (e.g., Odomos), and nutritious non-perishable food supplies (rice, cooking oil, etc.).
